He is licensed with numerous registries and will be presented to more associations in the future. We are expecting great things from this young stallion in the show ring!

Nuit d'Emerald HMS is producing tall, correct babies with good shoulder/neck, strong back, fancy gaits and lots of chrome to top it off. He is crossing extremely well with light to medium boned mares. His oldest offsprings are now two years old; they have been lightly free jumped and are displaying their sire's beautiful form over fences.

Nuit d'Emerald HMS is sired by the phenomenal stallion EMERALD VAN’T RUYTERSHOF (Diamant de Semilly/Carthago Z). After being the reserve champion of the World Championships for 6 years old jumpers in 2010, Emerald quickly rose to the top of the international showjumping scene to participate in the 2016 Rio Olympics. He has been highly active afterwards under rider Harrie Smolders in the Longine’s Global Champions tour, securing many victories in 2017 and 2018. Emerald’s eye-catching offsprings are following in their sire’s footsteps on the international scene. They are known to be careful over fences, have good minds and have an excellent use of their hind legs. Emerald also sired outstanding approved stallions including I’m Special de Muze, Escape Z and El Barone 111 Z.

Damsire is another well known superstar of the showjumping scene; BALOU DU ROUET (Baloubet du Rouet/Continue). This stunning powerhouse completed an excellent Stallion Performance Test and was awarded with the top marks of 9.5 and 10.0 for jumping. He has been successful not only in the sport, but also as an incredible sire. By 2017, in Germany alone, 195 of his progeny are successful at advanced level/S and the lifetime earnings of his descendants have already reached 2.6 million euros. Balou du Rouet sired over 50 licensed stallions, including many successful international jumpers. He is also well known in North America as a sire of incredibly talented hunter horses, and stallion sons Banderas, Bon Balou, Amazing, and Bliss MF.

1st DAM

Nuit d'Emerald HMS comes from a fairly small but highly predicated damline filled with excellent sport horses performing in various disciplines.

First dam, ELITE mare ECLIPSE SCF (Balou du Rouet/Consul), was #4 jumper bred Dutch Warmblood foal in North America at the KWPN-NA keuring in 2009. At age 5, Eclipse was North American champion of the jumper IBOP testing with an impressive score of 79.5.  She also earned the elite status with KWPN-NA based on performance and passing stallion level radiographs/endoscopy.  She is currently showing successfully in both hunters and jumpers at A shows.  She has amazing, consistent form with the scope and ability for the upper levels. Eclipse also produced a stallion prospect by Cornet Obolensky in 2017, Minuet du Cornet HMS.

2nd DAM

Second dam is KEUR PREST mare NOVA by Consul and out of Faletta STER PREF by Akteur. Nova is a full sister to Judgement CROWN who competed successfully under Beezie Madden to international level. Nova had the top under saddle test of her year at the KWPN-NA Keuring and went on to produce outstanding offsprings competing at top levels, including Zenith SCF STER by Indoctro PREF who was exported to Holland and went on to compete in Belgium with Jessica Kurten in the 4 year old Young Jumper Championships. Nova’s filly by Nassau, Celeste SCF SPORT, is also competing successfully in eventing. Nova also produced two full sisters to Eclipse SCF who are doing very well in sport. Fortuna SCF is successfully competing to CIC** level under owner/rider Bobby Meyerhoff, while  young mare Gaia SCF jumped all clear rounds at 1.25m at WEF, winning ribbons in the 3'3 Hunters only a few weeks later. This speaks a lot about the rideability and versatility of this mare line!
