Prototype is a 16.3hh imported performance proven hunter stallion. He is brave and steady with a lovely rhythmical canter. He has a fabulous work ethic and is a pleasure to ride. His temperament is incredibly easy, allowing him to switch between professionnal and amateur riders in a heartbeat.
Prototype has proven to be a very athletic and versatile horse. He has been shown in the hunter derbies and has demonstrated his high performance skills by always jumping the high options (4’3) and showcasing that he can navigate a challenging and spooky course while maintaining a consistent hunter way of going.

OFFSPRINGS
Prototype has given to his numerous offsprings a typical hunter style, hack winning trot, beautiful canters and a 10 jumping technique with high even knees and a correct bascule. He passes on his amateur friendly and easy going temperament. Many offsprings were presented successfully in young horse classes, including the highly competitive cup classes at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto.
If you are looking to produce a good looking and amateur friendly hunter that will also be the winner in the professional divisions, Prototype is an excellent choice.
SIRE
Prototype is sired by the Belgian Warmblood stallion PALESTRO VAN DE BEGIJNAKKER, a son of the legendary QUIDAM DE REVEL, and is out of international jumper mare Luxurieuse van de Begijnakker. Palestro's uterine sister, Quality van de Begijnakker, also competed on the international scene and produced numerous top jumpers.
Palestro's numerous offsprings are scopey jumpers, and many have reached the international level, including Walestro van het Bloemenhof, Vacant ter Linden, Aisa van de Groendreef and the approved stallion Tradition van de Begijnakker.
DAMSIRE
Damsire, the Holsteiner stallion Corofino I, is one of the rare stallions who have received a score of 10 for his jump at the Holstein 100 day test. He was a finalist at four years old and a winner up to M class in Germany, before he was exported to Italy, where he had a brilliant International career under the saddle of Valerio Sozzi. Between the ages of 8 and 16, he created a super record of international achievements with the Italian rider.
Corofino I transmits his scope, good gaits, and temperament. He is known as one of the best mare producers in Germany.
